Andrew has spent most of his career advising stakeholders how to protect and create value from situations where a weak capital structure and/or underperformance presents a challenge to the businesses. His experience spans public and private markets, across most industry sectors and the key geographies in Europe, the Americas and ASIA.
Andrew has considerable board experience having advised listed companies, PE owned portfolio companies and owner managed businesses. He has also taken board appointments, for example, he was the Executive Chairman of the General Healthcare Group between 2013 and 2019 taking the group through a c.£2bn debt restructuring and an ultimate sale.
Andrew was with Ernst & Young for 40+ years and held senior leadership positions including the Global Leader of Turnaround & Restructuring and the Global Leader of Private Equity in Strategy & Transactions.
Andrew is married with three adult children, three spaniels and has a passion for fly fishing.
